Help Video download/execute option

This is probably more of a Gingerbread problem than an Xperia Play problem, so if it needs moved, my apologies to the staff...

Anyway, when I had my LG Ally with Froyo, whenever I would click on a video online, it would give me a dialogue box that said "this file can be executed or downloaded", and I got a button for each option. With my Xperia Play, I no longer have the option to download, it just streams. I have tried a long press, as well as a short press...there is no difference.

Do I need to download an app to get this option back?

Download opera mini. Its a webbrowser that gives you the option to download a video. I hope this helps as an alternative.
