Hahahaha nice....i payed four hundo flat for my dinc and it came with two car chargers, two wall charges, ten soft cases, two hard cases and five screen protectors. Phone was a refurb in perfect condition. I could not have been happier.
 
Haha...yeah, it's still a good deal. On ebay there are Eris's that are going for more than that. I hate people who either don't know what stuff is worth when they're buying it or are such complete cheapskates that they're basically stealing from you.
 
i gotta admit, i didn't see the humor in it either. We've all dealt with people wanting to buy stuff that had ridiculous requests or offers.
 
I thought it was the perfect comeback to a scumbag that wanted something for nothing. The reply was every bit as ludicrous as the original offer. To me, this makes it downright hilarious!

The htc incredible costs $164 to make. I actuallly posted another video of a different guy asking to buy one for the same price. Unreal. It was all in good fun.
 
Not funny. Its videos like that that make me wish YouTube dies.

Someplace may list that all of the hardware inside of the device totals up to $164, but that is definitely not the 'cost to make' one.

I sold my Behold 2 for $220 in June. They even offered my above asking. $300 is a good price for a motivated seller. $250 if they're on the run from the turkish mob and need cash fast, anything less is either a slap in the face or colossal ignorance of the value of things.

EDIT: I just checked Gazelle. Trade in value for the incredible is $241.
 
??? you all are saying the incredible cost SO much. Where did you buy them from. I bought my incredible for $150 NEW from Verizon. Granted this was with "upgrade" but if you are talking about no contract then yes they are selling for $550.
 
There was an article that states the cost to build an dinc costs 164 bucks. Carriers usually sell it cheaper then cost and bank on the contract.

I just read that article tonight. But that's not the cost to build it, that's the component cost (or parts total). You also have to figure labor, recouping the research & development costs, packaging, shipping, charger, etc. Granted, their final cost to build is still probably nowhere near $529 (full retail), but these companies they likes their profits.:D

Btw, you should've have asked if while he was at it, did he want to screw your wife also or did he just want to screw you.
