Help video format

I put a video on a friends TB, same format mp4 as I use on my DX. When I went to put the video on the SD card it asked if I wanted to convert the vid before it went to the card. I said no since I only had a few min to do this.

Question is, what format do the movies need to be for the TB to work properly? Movie looks crisp and not jumpy however on the TB it is not smooth.

So no one here knows what format I need to convert movies to so they play correctly on the Thunder Bolt?
