Video: Lg Connect

The dual core and extra 512 of ram is the only thing nice about this phone. The Esteem smashes it on everything else.
 
wow about time i found some peeps to agree with me and yes im a esteem user and im gonna be honest i aint buying another phone till maybe next year lol.
 
yeah I was completely disappointed after all the talk of a dual core coming to Metro. Then they revealed this....then it was just "pfttt whatever"
 
It looks like the esteem lol and overall even though the esteem is not dual core or a 1gb of ram its still an awesome phone plus it gets better after root
 
im guessing its not gonna be as expensive perhaps probaly will start at $300 thats my guess.

This spiked my intrest the most...
The Dyle phone is a mystery. MetroPCS didn't let me handle it—I had to let their rep demo it in front of me. Yes, it has that comical stick-out antenna, because it's receiving broadcast TV. Otherwise, it looks like a decent Samsung Galaxy S phone, with four physical buttons below what appeared to be an 800-by-480 screen.
MetroPCS's new phones are running Android 2.3, and "currently we don't have any plans to support [Android 4.0] Ice Cream Sandwich" on existing phones, Lau said. "With ICS comes additional…memory requirements that we didn't put into current products. And with the no-contract model we have, many of our customers are willing to upgrade for a new OS."
The new LG Connect 4G and Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G might be exceptions to that rule, but Lau didn't make any promises. The Galaxy Attain is coming this month; the Connect is coming next month. The Dyle phone is coming "later this year."

The Esteem has enough cpu and ram to do anything I want to do with it and has a bigger screen with a better cam. Im staying where Im at.
 
Im staying with my esteem most definately but Im thinking of picking this phone up for my wife that way I can still play with it lol. Shes on my old OM running CM7, I didnt have the heart to pawn my indulge off on her that would be cruel.

Good choice i loved my indulge it was faithful to me, was a little power hungry but i worked around that. I would of done the same cept my fiance is with verizon and her contract has a long way to expire lol.

I probably will be selling my phone while they are still in demand so I can get this. The Esteems have really good resale value and seeing how I have a brand new phone I'm sure I can get more than what I paid for it. I've been looking on craigslist, ebay, and some other websites and they are going for $300+. I dont care about front facing camera or hdmi ports so thats not an issue. Plus if I want to play something through hdmi, I would much rather use my asus u31sd-ah51 :D
