He actually said on the MoDaCo forums that he's not sure about that and may well be out much sooner.

will it come straight to the phone as other android devices or is the hero slightly different?

I ask because we're an all-Mac household - which means that HTC Sync won't work for us.

ummmm A MAC House with no apple phone ... seems to be a crack in the foundation ...

Seriously ... Not sure if there is a solution yet for MAC sync...

Did you search the site and also use a TAG Search to see if anyone else has posted about this ??

I hope this update comes out before the Hero is released to Sprint in the US.
