Video output ?

Had the g2x and returned for the sensation, my wife has the samsung, both of these have an hdmi output, is there a way to play video from the senation to a tv that not networked ? I like the sensation better than the g2x, but loosing the hdmi out seems like a step backwards.

Yes. You'll need an MHL (Mobile Hi-Definition Link) adapter cable but it should play at up to 1080p with that. It has a micro USB connection on one end and HDMI on the other.

I was just recently researching this as well. I found an actual HTC adapter but have not yet purchased it, heres a link:

demj, just fyi you said the sensation loosing hdmi out is a step backwards. Actually if I'm not mistaken the MHL port that it has is the newest technology that may become the standard on new phones. It combines hdmi and micro usb into a single connection that puts out 1080p video. So a lot of people read the specs and say "this phone sucks, it doen't even have hdmi out". actually it does.
