Help video recording audio ?

ok so i have no problems with the video recording on my evo it looks amazing but i go to a ton of concerts and such and i love recording them with my evo but it just sounds AWFUL, i was wondering if there was any setting to make or change to make the aduio recording sound much better ?

Nope. HTC has the audio recording at 8kbps, which is pretty much worse than a phone call. People over at xda were working on a fix, the last time I checked they fixed it a bit, but it will require a root and flash a custom rom.

This is a huge issue in my opinion. The bigger issue is that there is no way to control gain input from the microphone, anything louder than normal conversation volume is terribly distorted.

Exactly, you would think that's something that can be easily fixed. The reason I don't even use my video recorder anymore, it just sounds ridiculous.

Exactly the same without.... Why would it sound any better with headphones?
