Video recording battery usage

Just thought i would share I made a 40min video with my dhd and it took 30% of the battery. I thought that was kind of crazy.

I would say that was pretty good ?

I don't know if its good or not i have nothing to compare it to. It wasn't even set on 720p, it was on widescreen (800x480)

Well the biggest reason for that would be the fact that the screen is set to max brightness when you use the camera app.

I have just done the following

Battery 100% to 71%
Video with Audio 40 Minutes
Video Format: HD 720P (1280 x 720)
Stored on: 16Gb Class 10
Battery Type: 3.7vdc 1800maH Replacement Alternative.
