Root Video recording failed

Still having this problem and can't find my old thread.

Stock rom, 2.3.4
1.45GB free space on SD card

Camera works just fine, only having problems with the camcorder. With the camcorder set at low (30m) and MMS (low, 30s), the camcorder will record video. With it set to High (30m) and YouTube (High, 10m), the camcorder will not record video. I get no errors that pop up on the screen when I try recording on High and YouTube, the record button just highlights yellow and then goes back to normal.

Camera data has been wiped, as well as the app reinstalled, neither of which help.
I just recently tried installing this app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubberbigpepper.lgCamera&feature=search_result, to see if I could get the camcorder to work but instead I got an error message that said "Video Recording Failed".

Since it records in low and MMS modes, I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue since if it were, the camcorder should not work at all. Quite clear that it's a software issue, but I don't know what.

Is there something that should be on the SD card that I may have accidentally deleted that is needed for the higher quality recordings to work? Any stock google apps that are needed that would cause this issue with me having removed them? Perhaps there's something wrong with my build.prop file that is causing these issues (I can post it up if anyone thinks this may be why)?

Flashed complete backup recovery, camcorder works.
Start removing bloatware and installing user apps and camcorder stops working.

So, what bloatware apps could be preventing the camcorder from recording in High and YouTube modes?

Here's a thought. Could it be that the beats audio from this thread, http://androidforums.com/admire-all-things-root/517275-beats-dr-dre-samsung-admire-download.html, be the cause of not being able to record in High or Youtube modes?

Here's a complete list of everything I've done.
1) Flashed a bone stock recovery image
2) Rooted phone
3) Flashed the Beats audio
4) Restored a titanium backup, app only (no app+data)
5) Flashed a UOT theme
6) Changed some of the boot animation files to be able to put a custom bootanimation.zip on
7) Removed bloatware

I can't think of why anything there would mess up the camcorder, but if anything did, the only one I think could be it is the beats audio one since it requires you to mount the /system folder in CWM. I've been reflashing back to stock for over a day now and am getting sick of it. I just want the camcorder to work properly and there's absolutely no way that it can only work on a bone stock phone.

the m6 rom has beats buit in. try loading it and compare. then you'll know if its that and it may help you find your problem. they tell me all these admires are not built the same so it might just be a hardware problem but i have not heard of anyone else complain of this. that doesnt't mean they've even known they has a short-coming.

Mine doesn't work aswell... works for a little bit but stops idk why
Same scenario that I'm having or somewhat different? If it's the same we could probably compare everything we've done to our phones, find the similarities, and narrow down the issue.

Mine just force closes. I am running KillCMD's M-6 Rom with beats for a "super" phone, overclockable. And when I press camera the MIUI camera pops up, but as soon as I press video on MIUI Camera, it forcecloses. Just thought I would share my issues with you guys to maybe fix it for all of us.

have any or all of you guys loaded flash player 11 and pushed all of the lib files [4 ea] to /data/data/...flashplayer/lib. when i first got the admire it was limited on video functions till after I rooted and stuff.. the first thing i had to load was flash player since it didn't even do hd playback for nothing, even over wifi. and yes i know recording and playback isnt the same but tried two of my admires and neither have the HD record problem. and they both can run reqs 900 rom full time if thats what is loaded. just lucky i guess.
good luck

I haven't done anything with Flash Player, but that has got me thinking. After rooting, one of the first things I removed with the Metro bloatware was the YouTube app. Could it be that removing that deleted certain Flash files or settings that allowed the phone to record in High and YouTube modes, but they never get put back on the phone even after reinstalling the app?

I believe I have it narrowed down to the Beats Audio kidallstar95 did as being the cause of the problems.

Went back to stock and checked the camera for proper function after every change, and so far the only thing that I have not done was flash the Beats Audio. I can only assume that it leaves some sound options incomplete, incorrect, or just not even there and that causes the camcorder to not work when trying to record in higher quality.

Only took about 6 hours to do but at last, a working camcorder!
