Root Video recording not working?

Hey, I have Skyraider 2.5.2, and my whenever I try to record video, my phone reboots. Any suggestions? Thanks!

EDIT: I was told I need to update my radio. So for 2.15, I need to do unrevoked Forever. How do you do any of the other 2.xx radio updates. I remember something about unrooting your phone or something, but I can't find it anymore.

If you don't want to turn S=off (UnRevokedForever), look here on installing the 2.05 radio.

It does involve unrooting and should be done before install of froyo...so you might want to get some advice from someone more knowledgeable about this than I am before you proceed.

If you don't want to do S-OFF, and you're already rooted just do this.

1. Make a titanium backup of all User Apps+Data
2. Nandroid backup (Just in case!)
3. Unroot by using the PB31IMG.zip
4. Install the 2.05 radio
5. Reroot using unrevoked reflash
6. Install your new ROM
7. Restore your titanium back up user apps+data

The whole process could take about an hour from start to finish.

Yep, that looks like a plan to me. I went ahead and did the S-OFF and the 2.15 radio, and so far am very happy with it. Mileages may vary though.

Thanks guys. I decided to go S-off, and everything seems to be working great so far.

Random question barely on topic:

When I record a video, and put it on my computer, it has no sound. On my phone, it does. Could it be my media player (Windows Media Player) or something else? Thanks! :) EDIT: Never mind, you need Quicktime to play it with sound!
