Help Video recording stutters both on screen and in recording

Hi All,

When I record video on my Photon, the video stutters/pauses during recording. The pauses are evident when I go to playback the video, but oddly enough, the audio never pauses, just the video.

Anyone have similar issues? What was done to resolve it?

Hello Mike. I'm wondering if the video stuttering issue eventually washed out with use. It did on my X2 a while back, with no intervention other than my usual cache and data clearing along with a reboot every now and then.

Oddly, sometimes setting all menu configuration items to default, then rebooting and setting them back to the way you first had them can help with various problems.

Some users end up trying out different video apps/widgets and sticking with the one that works best. I've always used stock.

Unfortunately, no, it has not cleared up with use. I haven't changed any settings and I am using the stock video recorder. It's frustrating, because the phone is overall very good and takes great video.
