I've watched now a lot of videos on youtube taken by the DHD and they were ALL showing annoying changing brightness and most of them showing very clearly what only seems like dropping frames.
Then I saw a test video of the nexus s (that has a 5mp camera and not 8), which looked a whole lot more stable, in terms of brightness and in general.
I know that the megapixels mean nothing, it's all in the sensor and the lens (I learned it the hard way selling my amazing 5mp camera for a 12mp point and shoot that shoots much crappier pictures....).
Anyway, it looks extremely disappointing.
