Help video sound is horrible

Is there anything we can do about the camera/ video playback volume?
Or lack of?

I can not hear a thing. Even when I talk loudly, I can barely hear it on playback. One thing my Old Fascinate had, Was killer sound quality on the video. I count on video for a few things. But the way it is now.. It is unacceptable.

Was hoping that new RUU would do the trick. But no luck.

I was having this problem until the leaked update came out. I am running BAMF 1.5 which is based on the update and now the sound when recording video is pretty decent.

According to what's been put out, HTC is fully aware of this and, if you're not rooted, the next OTA should provide a fix.

I'm running the leaked RUU (it will be the OTA that is released soon) and the issue is fixed in it. So once the OTA is pushed out in a couple weeks the issue should be gone.

From my understanding the issue was how the software was using the noise canceling mic.

next time you record, put your finger over the noise canceling mic
seriously--some people found that as a solution.

The volume on my TB is very quiet vs my old DINC. I have all my settings adjusted to the max so thats not the problem.

said it before and I will say it again, this phone is awesome butthe sound in all aspects , volume , speaker, etc etc...... plain out SUCKS !
