Been nice if he showed the storage screen so we could see how much app space the device has.
May be a stupid question, so I apologize, but what part of the storage shows app space? I only ask, because a couple of weeks ago my Inc started giving me that message and I can't find any storage area that seemed low on space. I deleted some apps even though nothing looked low and sure enough, the message went away. I'm just puzzled because literally nothing showed being short on space. Thanks.

Not stupid at all, but the Inc's firmware dev at HTC that created the constraint IS stupid!!!!
The problem is the data/data folder that you can only see via a rooted app like Root Explorer (dangerous app if not real careful). The data/data folder can not have more than 135mb in it and this also causes the "low on space" error, even though you may have plenty of space left from the 765mb device storage.
I was stuck with almost 400 mb free, but getting the error. I discovered some apps were data hogs and deleted some of them. You do not have to be rooted, since same process:
Go to app manager and look for apps taking up a lot of data. Then decide what you keep or get rid of. Some apps take up more space than the actual app!
I am now able to get to 130mb free. I think that due to the data/data folder constraint, it is impossible to get much beyond that- unless all tip calculators![]()
I believe HTC has a "FastBoot" feature as a part of Sense 2.x that allows for these 10 second boots. Really, it's more analogous to booting from hibernation on a Windows machine than a cold boot.WOW! I have never seen any phone boot up so fast! The last "dumb phone" I had took longer to boot up than the TB. I want one NOW!
With the new amount of memory on the Bolt, will this still be an issue? Thank you again.
