View Address Causing Force Close?

I just put an address on a contact, saved it, and when i went to view address it give me people app FC! What the hell?

Does it just show you the address or does it try to bring up maps or something like it to actually SHOW you the address? If so, that's why, because i removed all that garbage.

Running Fresh 2.1.2.

I have had mine FC before and I do not have addresses in mind
 
Does it every time now. It's not a big deal because I don't normally put addresses in my phone or use it as an address book, but still.
 
This is an issue with Fresh 2.1.2 when you load it over Fresh 2.0. I had this same issue. It seems as if you can flash this over without having to wipe and everything seems fine however the people app will crash on contacts. The bad news is the only fix is to wipe your phone and flash 2.1.2 on. (you may want to check out 2.3.3 as it runs just as smooth). If it is something you can live with, then no need to wipe as I never saw any other issues besides that one. I will try to find a link to the thread that talked about this bug.

Well I am not rooted and I have the same issue, on all 3 phones they sent me
 
I flashed 2.1.2 directly from the stock sprint rom, so i doubt that's it either. But i'm about to flash 2.3.3. later tonight anyways, so we'll see what's up then.

Interesting, I did not know you can do that, let us know how it is
 
I mean, I rooted and all that first of course, but the only rom I've ever flashed was 2.1.2
 
The people app would fc on me all the time with 2.1.2. Drove me buggy. It finally randomly stopped doing it after a week or so... It must be a problem with the sprint 2.1 release for some people, because it has never once happened in the 3 weeks i have been running Zen
