Root Viewing Clockwork .img Files

DXFan

Newbie
On my X I created a backup using Clockwork and transferred the backup folder to my Windows 7 PC. Is there a way to view the contents of the .img files on my PC with some sort of tool? I already tried a utility to mount the file as a CD drive, but it said that it was unrecognized.

Thanks in advance.

whaa.. I can't believe no one knows this. I've been searching around Everywhere for the answer to this. bump!

7zip might do it.

negative.
But I have found a solution! (after weeks of search).

Here it is. Once you copy the Clockwork backup, put it in its own folder.
Then download this: UNYAFFS

Unzip the contents of that zip into the same folder as your backup images. Open cmd (command prompt) and navigate to said folder and type:

Unyaffs imagename.img

Imagename probably either system.img or data.img
All will be extracted to that folder now.

Hope that helps!

Now, on with the painful manual restore process-- anyone familiar with restoring call logs? (contacts2.db).. seems to not be working for me.
