You know, I didn't even notice that. All I know is that I read about the screen issue before I bought it. I didn't really think that it was going to be a problem for me, but that was proven false right away. Then I caught this thread and was thrilled to see that all other sides were just fine. Don't know how I missed it.

Anyhow, it's got to be a software thing that dictates which landscape position is correct. Apps are probably taking their cue from the OS. So, given that this is sort of an issue, and it can be remedied by flipping the device over, then can't they change the default up/down position in the next update? Of course they can, so how do we tell them that it should be included?

[edit]
It just dawned on me as I was reading the post back, that the biggest issue with changing the default position is the camera location. Not necessarily the front, but the rear. Maybe it would be beneficial to have a setting to change the defaults. I suppose it's too close to the release of 4.0 for it to be included in that, but maybe a near future point release. By the way, Mobo is defaulted with screen rotation locked. There's a setting to release it. I just found that out, perhaps other apps have a setting as well.
