Help Viewing photos in apps (Facebook, etc) now smaller - lower quality

Anyone know why facebook photos are small now rather than filling the screen? I have to zoom in to fill it.

Are you using the FB application or the preinstall facebook bookmark page?

Is your facebook running slower than usual? Everything else on mine is up to par..browser tapatalk... But facebook instagram and Twitter seem very slow..

Using the fb app.

I just noticed that it also does the same thing when someone sends you a picture via text.

I don't like it!

3vo.. i always find fb pretty slow, so I can't really compare.

I haven't had this problem, fb pics are big and so are pics in text, for me.

I found some of them take full screen, but most don't. it's really odd.

FB
MMS
Gallery (searching photos on fb. don't think this uses the fb app)

I can't believe i'm the only one with this issue. I even did a reset, but still the photos are not taking up full screen.

Recently the images that are being displayed on my device are loading in an extremely low resolution. This happens mostly with applications like Instagram, Facebook and now I am noticing it on my browser too. Any advice for a remedy would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe your issue is similar to the issue in this thread, so lets see if we can't hit two birds with one stone...

first, some questions to get us on the same page.

Are you rooted?
what carrier (I ASSume Sprint but want to make sure)?
how long have you had the phone?
did you install or uninstall any apps prior to this happening?
what size SD card do you have? what is your available memory storage space?
what browser are you using? have you tried another browser?
are the photos showing up smaller than normal? grainy? can you take a screen grab and post?
