Im using liquid smooth, and for some updates a clean install is required, and i flip from rom to rom at times, so i use clean alot. So how do i backup and restore wifi passwords

Go make a backup from the recovery. But can I ask why would you want to backup . that data is old and may cause problems with the new build

Titanium Backup can backup saved Wi-Fi networks to an xml file which can be restored after a fresh install

In TiBu, go to batch mode, backup system settings, uncheck everything but WIFI passwords, and anything else you want to backup. A lot of these settings don't travel well between ROMs, though.

When you've installed your new ROM, install TiBu and restore the system settings you've backed up.

In the Titanium Backup settings there is an option called "Backup data to xml file" and you can save your Wi-Fi networks to a local file which can be restored across every rom. I've found this method to be more compatible than the standard way of backing up the settings.
