Root [Virgin Mobile] Clear Battery Stats

I just got the after market battery I ordered on Ebay. The listing says it's 3180 mAh, but when it came it says 3380 mAh. Bonus? Who knows. My question is should I clear battery stats and if I should, how could I do this. I know using CWM on my Triumph, you could do it in recovery, but I now use TWRP. Any suggestions are appreciated!!! :)

Just trying to get the most out of this bad boy. I have bought a few of these batteries in the past with pretty good results. Only bad thing is the temp sensor does not work with them.

You can clear battery stats with a root enabled file manager. Navigate to /data/system and delete batterystats.bin

Same can be achieved through TWRP's built in file manager or AROMA File Manager.

I think there is a function in CWM to wipe battery stats.

Here is how things went. I installed the battery and charged it fully. The first day it drained faster than the factory cell. So, I let it drain to %15 and then fully charged it again over night. I unplugged the phone on Sunday at 6:30 am. It is now 7:37 am Monday and I still have %54 battery. I took a few pictures, sent some texts and played Candy Crush and FlickHomeRun. Basically normal usage for me and it only used %46 in a 24 hour period.

I think that's how the phone handles new batteries. Full, or close to full discharge and then a full charge. I think I read that somewhere.

I am going to let it go as long as it will today and see how long it lasts before recharging. If this is normal, I guess the $18 investment was worth it :)
