Okay. Roger that. It really is quite useful. I went with 4gigs partitioned.

My internal memory is maxed out, I can't backup files because they aren't going to my sd card(titanium backup is linked.) I was going through the memory and TWRP is taking up 1gig, as well as something called 'unityadsvideocache'. Anything that can be deleted from the misc files?

That unityads can be deleted. That file in twrp is a backup you created, you can put that on your PC and remove it from your phone. But not the twrp folder, keep opening that folder until you get to the one that has you build number and a date in it (nd4). Copy that one to your PC then delete it from your phone. Also boot into twrp and make sure it is set to save backups to your external SD card.
And go into titanium preferences settings and change backup target file from sdcard to storage/ext sdcard/titanium backup to make it save backups to your external SD card. No wonder your internal is full, you're backing up everything to your internal. Also make sure your camera is saving to SD card. Then go in sdcard/DCIM and move all pictures to storage/ext sdcard/DCIM to move them all to your card.
