Help Virgin mobile customer support

I tried calling virgin mobile customer support on my Motorola triumph and i got like a wierd operator/411 request. Anybody know why this would be happening? I called *86 first then tried 1-888-322-1122 and got the same thing.?

I haven't tried calling them myself, but I have seen on other threads that sometimes the custom roms don't work all the time when using the short *8numbers, but calling the 1-800 number direct should work I believe

Depending on what you are trying to get support for, you might be better off emailing their "social" team at

VMUSocialCare@sprint.com

They generally are more knowledgeable and can help a lot more than the 1st level call in reps. Also, you get a written "paper trail" so if someone says that they will get you a new phone or restart your plan month or whatever, you have it in an email from them instead of having to just claim that is what the phone rep told you.
