Root [Virgin Mobile] CyanogenMod 10.2 Stable Release/Official CM 11 Upcoming! (Edit: It's Here!!)

Everything went through with a success :)!!! But one thing how do I get the lock screen to be transparent like in the real android 4.3??? THANKS!!!

Haven't run either Wicked or MOAR long enough to know the answer to that. I know it is an option in the latest Carbon for sure. I also know that it is available through the Xposed Framework, there is a specific module for transparent lockscreen, and possibly Wanam has it as well (Wanam tends to be the most compatible module for TW 4.3 ROM's).

Okay I got the transparent thing figured out but I have one more question sorry for bothering you today saying one more question one more question but on the lock screen when I press the home button it doesn't wake the device how do I enable that like normal???

Again, haven't run either of those enough to know the ins and outs. Most of the time, that is a setting feature, at least on AOSP ROM's; not sure what it would be under for TW.

For those who would like it, CyanogenMod team released a final "maintenance" build of JellyBean, this is CM 10.2.1; nothing major, but it should be the final, be all end all release of the the CM version of JellyBean.

Read about it here:

CyanogenMod 10.2.1: Maintenance Release | CyanogenMod

And download it here:

This is considered stable, so always good to have something like this on hand in my opinion, just in case! Anyone who needs a modified version uploaded, please feel free to PM me or post.

Snapshot M3 build is rolling out right now as I type, this is the second Snapshot build released by the CyanogenMod team since their initial KitKat CM11 release.

So looks like the CyanogenMod team is now doing the unified builds for the SGS3 as well, so starting with the next round of nightlies, look for d2lte, just like the new Carbon builds (LiquidSmooth is also doing this). From the CM blog post:

Unified Builds for Select Variants | CyanogenMod

Will there be additional editing to make it work on VM SGS3? I am just thinking there should be as now the updaters will have verizon data we shouldn't get.

I flashed the 2/18/2014 nightly and everything is fine except the weather widget on the home screen. I cannot find a way to change the Celsius to Fahrenheit. I remember making the Carbon change by going to Settings/Display and Lights/Weather but that option isn't available with this ROM.

Any ideas?

1. Go to Settings
2. Lock Screen
3. Click on Clock Widget
4. Click on Weather Panel
5. Uncheck 'Use Metric'
6. Back Out and Test

oh yea lol ill be checking this out, for me atleast on there 03-07 d2lte nightly, my flash process seems to work better now without the typical settle time

at first i did it my normal way
clean install
rom- settle 10 min, i noticed the rom was laggy like crazy
gapps - settle 10 min, the laggyness got even worse
mops universal fix - settle, .com error every single time i touched the screen

so i tried
rom and gapps together - settle 10 min, no laggyness everything looking good
universal fix - settle 10 min, .com error every single time i touched the screen

then tried
rom, gapps, and the old fix #2 all at once - settle 10 min, so far so good no errors or FC's, still setting it all back up now tho

Cyanogen team just announced their newest Snapshot M4 build, blog announcement here, downloads not available yet as of this writing:

CyanogenMod 11.0 M4 Release | CyanogenMod

Previous two Snapshot builds ran very well for me, I expect nothing less out of this one, and it is the first since they went to the unified route.

From the comments on the Cyanogen Blog Post, the unified ROMs will be delayed. Not sure for how long. I saw the post this morning before work and had been excited all day to get the M4. I checked the download page and it wasn't there.

Hello, I am running CyanogenMod 11-20131212-NIGHTLY-d2spr and my carrier is Virgin Mobile.

I can send and relieve text messages, but whenever I try to turn on my data, nothing happens. The phone works normally, and I can connect to WiFi.

I tried flashing the universal Virgin Mobile fix from this page (http://androidforums.com/virgin-mob...ms-fix-wip-cm-aosp-tw-update-2014-1-18-a.html) but it seems like it didn't do anything.

I apologize for my ignorance, but if someone could point me in the correct direction and help me fix this, I would be ever so grateful. Thank you! If you need any more information about my phone, just ask, but I really need this fixed. Thanks again!
