Root [Virgin Mobile] Respect for Jerry.

Chiral

Android Enthusiast
I've had powersave mode enabled for probably the last week, because I have to have it enabled while I'm at work because I dont like running the battery down to 30% by the end of my shift and never bother to toggle it. I've effectively gotten used to running at stock speeds of 1.2 again, despite using the Vae kernel.

I just turned it off, and I'm amazed how fluidly the browser, and phone in general behaves now. Seeing the difference in such sharp contrast is like the first bite of food after a long fast.

You have truly unlocked the potential of this phone. You deserve our thanks.

Edit: no thanks from anyone but Jerry. If you agree, thank Jerry on one of his posts instead.

Thank you!

Please keep in mind I never work alone! The kernel overclocking is primarily due to sauce added by rbheromax, with a few modifications by me, but it's mostly his work. The original backup Victorious is cooked from was made by g60madman. The lists of safe to remove system apks on the Samsung Galaxy line of phones has been compiled by several others on different models, and generally translated well to the Victory. The ability to swap the sdcard and move apps to a 2nd partition were created by others, I just combined the scripts to make them work nicely together (most of the time). And please, let's not forget all the hard work xinterloperx has put in to development on the SPH-L300 phones! Then there's the folks over at TWRP and Koush (CWM) who created the custom recoveries without which we could do none of this easily. There's also all of you users who help along the way, trouble shooting, researching, testing, and then sharing with all of us.

Cooking a ROM is fun and relatively easy compared to the work done by those who have helped me along the way, and I truly appreciate all of their help!

Now if I just can find the time to make it easy for everyone to install.....

Well said. You're the face of Victorious, but everyone else involved deserves a thanks as well.

I would like it if each person you mentioned made at least one reply to this thread, so that the rest of us can pile on our thanks and likes to recognize their efforts.
