thank you very much so far 4g, 3g, wifi works, ill test mms in a few

Edit: MMS WORKS!! i wasnt able to send it from go sms on my old rom but i can now! thank you!

anyone know if we ave themes for this?.. i'd like my status bar icons blue...

You can use xposed framework and a mod for it like xblast tools or wanam to edit status bar colors, I'm in my phone so I can't link ya but if I recall correctly struckn posted a link for someone else on one of these threads, its on xda site

Other then that I have found a few themes for the built in theme chooser but none I really liked yet

I haven't tried uot kitchen on this with cm, although I did try running the stock ROM but I kept getting errors

Anything seen working better or different from the M2 Snapshot compared to the 1-11-2014 nightly posted by ebildude123?

Is there any way to remove the asserts from my phone?

As long as you have a l710 with virgin mobile you won't need to edit anything for this, eb has already done and it

As for you question, no, the asserts in the phone are basically a line that says this is a sprint, VM or whatever phone, the reason editing is required at all is because most Roms built for this device are built for the sprint version which is identical to ours, so we edit the sprint lines out and make the VM lines, or remove them altogether

But in this particular forum there are already at least I believe 2-3 Roms which don't require you to edit anything

I'm trying to install the nightly updates from cyanogen updater in the phone settings, but they fail to install unless I remove the asserts which I'm having to do from the pc. I would like a more convenient way to keep up with the nightlies.

Sorry, our phone isn't supported by the cm updater. Your choices are to download the nightlies and mod them, or wait until ebildude123 or some other nice person does it for you.

You can use any of several root-enabled file browsers to change the asserts without a PC. I like root browser lite.

Just download the ROM.zip you want, use root browser to navigate to the updater script, use the text editor to change the asserts, save.

This ROM is fantastic. I don't know if I needed it or not, but I applied the MMS fix #2 anyway after flashing the ROM. We'll see how it goes with MMS.
