An XDA user earlier coined the term "obKNOXious" which made me laugh, thought I would share it over here for a few grins!

I've been gone for a while now just casually browsing AF from time to time so I don't really have any idea what's going on. Could anyone care to fill me in on what exactly KNOX is? I can only see that everyone hates it lol.
 
So just out of curiosity, is it better to used odex or deodexed when deleting some of the system apks?
 
dedexed for modding system apks ...odex for stockish rom plan and simple.

running 4.3 without knoxs :D confirmed via download mode bootloader unchanged

I'm not modding them I'm just deleting them. Or is that the same thing?

depends on if the apk is in the framework of the rom or not... safer to use dedoxed when removing apks from a flahable zip less chance to break the rom. all depends on what you want to remove.
 
Hey my new friends...here's my Intro so that you all know a little about me. Please don't think I'm being vain or gloating. Not vain or gloating at all my friend, you are very much an asset to the Android community and even more so an asset to our country because of your service! Congrats on the news of the new baby on the way and good luck with your MBA!

Thanks @struckn, I appreciate your kind words. I also appreciate the offer, but I do this because I want to give back in some way for all the help that has been afforded to me since I first started tinkering with my first smartphone. I think I know the answer, but just double checking.. if one has already taken the OTA update to 4.3 is this ROM still safe to flash?

I'm having issues with my system after attempting to edit my system.db and am wanting to perform a full wipe. I have the Knox bootloader. I'm sure it is safe to format system and flash this but I am just double checking.
