Virgin Mobile Rumored Devices Thread

Hmm, so this throws in an interesting twist. With the new SIII coming, I would think the price of the SII would drop, and to be totally honest, I would be prefectly fine with the SII as my everyday phone. From the people I know that own SIII's, the screen almost seems too big and the phone itself is almost too large to fit into a pocket.

And so the wait begins to determine how much cash I'll be shelling out. Decisions, decisions...

that is why the smaller, cheaper priced galaxy victory 4g lte is ideal, and at under $200.

I don't know why, but I just don't like the looks of the Victory. If I'm going to invest in a smartphone, I want to make sure it meets most, if not all, my expectations before I place my order. That's why I might spend a couple extra dollars for the S3, so that I don't end up having to spend more money in the long run.

So how long till the S3 see's a price drop. Since it's always like two months later the phone is on sale.

My friends have never complained about the size of the phone. While the screen on my s2 is large enough I don't mind larger, especially if it's HD. Can't wait!

True. Then again, I do have big pockets, so it wouldn't be a problem. I guess a couple inches won't make a difference.

The S3's screen is a good size. Now the Note 2's screen may be a tad big but then again I like bit screens. I can watch videos better on a lager screen

It depends on how you prioritize specs.

For me, removable battery and storage TRUMPS all specs related to quadrant scores, or screen resolution. The spec difference will be minimal to some degree with the phones you're comparing...so it's not like comparing the OG Motorola Droid to the Optimus G.

I'd take any phone with removable battery and memory over one without these features assuming they were built in the same year with relatively similar specs. In fact, a quad core without removable is less attractive to me than a dual core with removable...so I'll even let the specs slide a little in this case.

Flagship phones from different manufacturers will all be competitive given the same release times...so for me, having removable storage and a battery is of utmost importance...and will always trump a few numbers of difference in the performance spec of the phone.

*Cough* what legitimate defense does HTC have for putting MicroSD card slot in the One for just one country? - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

Galaxy ring coming sometime after the S3, and the lg optimus f5 or f3 might possibly come as the vm720.

Practically all boost stores contain VM phones too.
It has been quite a while since I've been in one, and I don't remember them selling them. But I called, and you guys are right, they do. I called a couple near me, and none of them have the S3 yet, though. Wonder how yours already got them, notebooko. The ones I called didn't even know about pricing info yet or anything.

Strange, mine said their shipment just got in that morning. I know Boost mobile stores are independent. Maybe your local ones haven't restocked yet. The one I went to already had their S3 posters and demo phones.
