Help [VIRGIN MOBILE] Search Function Within Apps

So I was lamenting the missing dedicated search button on the S3, when I happened to long press the menu button within an app and discovered that that is how you can access the search function now. A Google search might have revealed this knowledge to me too, but I'd never gotten around to looking it up. Just placing this here in case anyone else hasn't realized this.

I knew about the menu long press for Search/Now but for me it doesnt work unless im on homescreen. cant remember if its always been like that or if its maybe the rom im on

If you're in an app and you press it, it doesn't bring up search?

Nope, nothing happens man. I cant remember if it used to. Maybe its a Touchwiz thing coz im using 3rd party firmware now :beer:

Could be something you changed then, yeah. I'm completely stock still, and it works for me!
