Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] CM10 for Optimus F3

hi to all, I managed to put cm10 the optimus f7 in optimus f3. But this rom have a lot of issue.

What work ?
boot,touch,gpu

What the problems ?
wifi, bluetooth, sounds...

use the CWM for flash
- Copy CM to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery and MAKE A BACKUP
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Flash CM zip from SDCard and flash this kernel -> OptimusF3-StockKernel
- Reboot

sorry for my english, i'm Brazilian.
 
For me, it gets to the boot animation and sits. I'll mess with it more tomorrow. I'll change the files to match our own phone to see it it gets further along.

Same thing happened when I tried. I've just started looking at the build.prop and framework files. I'm doing the same with your rom as well. I think they're both real close to booting, with a few changes to some of the JAR files and/or add what's missing.

Ive got the device tree and ported it to our phone. Im compiling now and should be finished in an hour. Ill let you know how it turns out.
 
I've been at this all day and its not booting. I've noticed that if I pull the prebuilt files off of the phone to match the prebuilt files for the f7 device tree, the phone doesn't get to the boot animation.

I'm going to compile it again after making changes. I'm going to keep the files the same except for our specs and test it again.

Well you know nfc is going to be one of those issues. I haven't had time yet to try some changes. I'll see if I can find some time later this evening. I feel we're close though. :D
 
Yesterday I focused on building this rom from source. Today i'm just going to focus on the rom it's self and change what it needs.
 
I'm going to give up on trying to get this rom to boot for the time being. I've jumped back into my project for cm-10.1

I've re-uploaded the rom with my progress made on it for someone else to pick up. At this point, this is the closest cm rom to almost boot that i've seen yet. I've learned a few things from it.

Edit:
You will need to change the boot img with it to a stock boot img loki'd ZV5 or flash one afterwards. At this point it's still not booting but is very close.
