Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Error code 67 - block it (Solved)

After doing a MEID phone swap, I'm now getting occasional Error Code 67 popup messages.
I have a rooted VM Optimus F3. It works fine with Wifi Hotspot tethering and I want to keep it that way.

How can I permanently BLOCK these messages (without doing a PRL Update)?
Any help?
Thanks.
Rob

(Solved) Here's the fix: Using the app System Tuner, under Apps Manager find GOOGLE SERVICES FRAMEWORK, then find CONNECTIVITY_CHANGE and uncheck it.
Now reboot and Error Code 67 is GONE!

All the information that I'm able to find regarding the Error Code 67 suggests that it's a security issue between your phone and your carrier, which can only be resolved by doing that PRL update or by contacting your carrier (in which case they'll probably walk you through resetting/updating the PRL).

I don't think there's a way to just ignore the problem and suppress those error messages.

Hmmm.... Considering I have ROOT access you'd think I have the ability to block those messages.
Just need to find the right check box.

Root doesn't magically install a framework for modifying your phone with a series of checkboxes - it simply gives you read+write access to the internal file system. What you do with that is entirely up to you.

Even if it is possible, it would likely require manually recompiling a piece of the telephony stack - not a task for the light-hearted. ;)

If this phone is the one used for cloning (Cloned from not cloned to) then just use airplane mode to stop the messages.

Codesplice--- Sorry... no recompiling necessary. As I said. A simple checkbox.

Using the app System Tuner, under Apps Manager find GOOGLE SERVICES FRAMEWORK, then find CONNECTIVITY_CHANGE and uncheck it. Now reboot. And now error 67 is GONE!

Glad you found a solution that works for you. :)

I hope you don't run into any unexpected side-effects, though... the GSF can be kind of delicate/finicky at times.
