Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Interesting Problem - Home Button LED

I rooted my phone last night and deleted a LOT of bloatware and unnecessary crap off my optimus f3.

Im wondering if i went too far though. Ill admit, some things i didnt know what I was deleting but i shrugged my shoulders and went with it. The phone is working fine, but the only annoying problem ive faced is the home button LED is stuck doing the "rainbow" or alert message. Its pretty annoying and it removes the functionality of the led messages and cant be good for the battery.

I appreciate your help in the matter. Its a real mystery for me!

Thats the one thing i forgot to mention! The menu settings have no effect. I turned the led off in the menu and it has no effect. it just keeps doin the rainbow alert.

thanks for the help

Hehehe I was in the same boat. I ended up using the unbrick thread then eliminated bloat one by one to get a system I am happy with. That is the best I can tell you. Good Luck!

Thanks for the help. I'll try fixing it later on tonight after our big dinner.

EDIT: Did a factory reset and re-rooted. Everything works smoothly and im lovin the new launcher and layout that Ive created.

Why didnt I think of backing up my contacts???!!! What an idiot.
