Bec

Lurker
I have finally rooted using stump root but now when I attempt to use link2sd I get this error upon attempt to move a file

I am not sure how to eliminate this I have formatted the SD on a computer a couple of times and tried formatting with the app Aparted. Any help would be appreciated

I guess I'm using the wrong program then? I'm trying to moves apps from internal to external since the internal space is so small

No, you will need to choose 'link', not 'move'. Allot of people make that mistake. I also made that mistake when I first tried what you are doing. You'll figure it out. :)

When you download link2sd, and go into it, when you click on an app, do not click on the first part that says move to SD, instead, click at the bottom where it says to create a symbolic link.

Finally got apps to "move" but now when I try to install some apps it tells me insufficient space :( and others install just fine

Check in your /storage/sdcard/android/obb once I had an issue where it had data from an app I once downloaded there.

It sounds like you've set "Install Location" to Internal or External (in the Link2SD>>"Native App2SD Settings") - it should be set to "Automatic". I had the exact same error as you when I set "Install Location" to External - some apps would install and others would not giving me the "insufficient space" message. See screenshot below.

For our phone, just check the "Auto link" and it will take care of just about everything. I've purchased the plus app, and I link everything i can (apk, dalvik-cache, library, internal data) with no issues.
