Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Need some help here!

So i rooted my f3 about a week ago and everything went fine, i decided to tweak my build.prop a bit to disable the camera shutter sound but it didnt work and i didnt care, all i changed was the ro.camera.forced whatever line. A couple of days after, i notice that when i go to the display settings the "Home button LED" isnt there anymore so i cant turn it off or on. Also i noticed that some of the UI is different then before; like when i turn the volume up or down this UI was white before and now its black as if it were stock android! Also when i press both volume rockers the quickmemo thing doesnt work anymore? :/ This is really weird idk what i did. Also i cant change any of my ringtones, like when i select a different one all it does is that it plays the default one. Also as you can see on the first picture, the "swipe" lock screen is selected but i get the one from stock android...? Can someone help me. I already did a factory reset and my build.prop is back to how it came but that didnt help.

well the phone is new enough that it would still be covered by virgin mobile's automatic warranty, you could just unroot, and say it is broken and have them send you a new one

could also just be a theme

DO NOT USE THE FIRMWARE FROM THE SECOND LINK. Please read everything twice. Not my fault if you screw up your phone because you can't read. If you follow directions (and don't unplug in the middle of flashing) should work fine. If it doesn't flash within 10 minutes, you can remove the battery and reinsert it and turn back on normally. If there is a pop-up box with an error, ignore it for 10 minutes and see if anything else happens in the window behind. Do not use USB 3.0 ports. Connect the phone into a USB port on the back of the PC. Do not use a USB splitter.

I don't know how much more specific I have to be before people actually read half the stuff on this site...

And if I did make a thread on how to find firmware, everyone would be like:

Thanks a lot guys, i got all the files downloaded, but i cant get my phone to boot into emergency mode. i did power+both volume rockers but that bring the factory reset prompt.
 
hey bro... just hold v+- @ same time n with out letting go connect ur usb cable. of course cable need to b connected to comp first. and ur phone needs to be n usb debugging allowed
 
Unfortunately the process isnt working :( when i hit "Launch software update" it runs for like 10 seconds then it freezes and ends up exiting saying the program doesnt respond. Im on windows 8

Run it again, wait 10 minutes, even if it doesn't respond.

^ if that doesn't help, try on a computer running windows 7

If that doesn't work, I'll have to set it up to flash a different way. It's not a bad download. If it were a bad download it would say extract error.
 
Can one of you guys please attach your non-modified buid.prop as a text file? I would really appreciate it
 
It's not a boot loop actually, the phone boots but right after the lg welcome screen the phone stays stuck on a black screen with the home button led shuffling through all the colors

The kdz still won't flash then eh?
And I think the reason the build.prop messed u up is different software versions.
