Root [Virgin Mobile] System Update will not take

Not to necro an old thread, but is the MG5 to ND4 update the update for a rooted phone?

I currently have a rooted victory, and I want to install the newest system update.

I see that you posted some links earlier, but I just want to make sure updating will not brick my phone (or unroot).

I created a backup with TWRP just now.
Can you relink me a flashable install that will allow me to utilize the update without having to re-root my phone?
Also, I was hearing that even a recovery would not restore nd4 BACK to md5?

And no you cannot return to mg5 with a backup. There is no going back.

Would you recommend I stay on my current version?

I'm always scared of doing an update that is irreversible...

I currently have Conquest [Cataclysm] installed on my victory. It hasnt been updated for almost a year.

When in doubt, don't do it... But I hear this new update gives increased reception? (I could really use that)

I am having the issue as well. I am 100% stock mg5. This will not install for me.
