Root [Virgin Mobile] TrevE Mod wifi hotspot-Booting strangers?

I am software challenged. I rooted my phone, installed TrevE Mod after reading for a few days all of the help on this forum; and another forum....Thank You! Now I have a stranger connecting to my hotspot and I can not figure out how to boot them off and prevent them from jumping on again. I thought I read somewhere that securing the hotspot causes problems. Please help and type slowly to this newb....

If it is configured and working correctly security works great

If you just want you can turn on Access Control and then when someone connects you have to approve it

I used to get constant disconnects feeling with root but I've noticed that one I unticked driver reload it never happened again

Using Access Control is what I am trying to figure out. How do you approve or disapprove?

When someone connects it should show a notification on notification bar that you click on which should prompt you to approve or deny.

I noticed that and the only thing I can do is put a check by them or uncheck them. So I guess if there is no check, they can be connected to the wifi hotspot, but without internet access?

Under menu I only have 2 options

Renew client list
Apply settings

Have you even tried encryption?

1. Open the settings for wifi tether and tick the checkbox for "send netd client cmd"
2. Enable encryption and then set a password.
3. Enjoy peace of mind.
