README:
Welcome to the Stock Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G backup. There is two backup's I am offering. One from ClockworkMod and the other from TWRP. These backup's are 100% Stock from a NIB Device which has not been activated. These backups both include the current OTA update for the newer voicemail as of 5.11.2013. Also both backups are not rooted, so you will need to root accordingly.

These BACKUPS are to be only used on the Virgin Mobile Version of the Victory. You have been WARNED!!!

Q/A:
Q: Why is this not a flashable zip?
A: I tried several zip files and while they would load perfectly the radio would not work, this included several tries editing permissions to get the radio to work. I simply got tired of messing with it :p

Q: Did you try to make a odin restore?
A: If I created an odin restore it would not be stock as you need to root the ROM, to rip the ROM using the dd= command.

DOWNLOAD:
Vmobi Browser

INSTALL TWRP:
1. Extract Zip and copy TWRP folder to your SD Card
a. if you have a TWRP folder already just rename it to TWRP_OLD
2. Boot into recovery and restore from External_SD

DONATIONS:
Send me a beer if you appreciate my work!

First! Haha just had to try that. Great work, lots of people will love having their phones back!

I do not have any apps installed to my SD card. I do have my music, camera storage, and data. What I'm curious to see and need to install some games to test, is if game data will go to my external SD or internal memory. I'm fearing it'll wind up being the latter.

So I flashed it and got my os to boot now. But I have no service... this may be because I switched my service back to my old evo so I could make calls.. But Its not even registering that the phone can do anything right now. No bars.. Just a 0 with a / in the middle where bars should be. WIFI works though

Also I didnt notice it before but when flashing it gives an error message and then says failed in TWRP. It says "Error flashing zip"

Can someone link me to the ZIP files everyone was flashin that jacked the phone? I want to make sure there is no other files I need to fix in this ZIP.

Victory_JB_Stock.zip (SPRINT; NOT VIRGIN MOBILE; NO ONE FLASH THIS LOL!!)

G60, I believe this was one of them, but I'll let those users speak for themselves ;)

I would encourage those flashing g60's stock rom to FORMAT system, cache, and data in TWRP and wipe the dalvik cache of course before flashing to see if it clears up your issues.

I never flashed a wrong one.. What I did was I pressed wipe system in TWRP by accident. I did however wip everything before I tried to flash this. I have since tried to switch back to my galaxy from my evo. It's not working. It says no mobile network. But it isnt flashing correctly anyway.

I just restored using JacobK254 backup in the other thread.. It wouldn't work before but now it is at least letting me make calls. All in all the comination of the rom that half flashed and JacobK254 backup I'm back up and running.

Everything is back to normal and functional!

Once I get the phone I will be making a new ROM that will be 100% stock. Right now this is the best we got.

Justdoyour, do your sounds work?

I tried it last night, and like you, couldn't get mobile data to work... Then noticed that if I tried to play any media, or anything there was no sound...

Ok... Got mine to boot up (FINALLY!!) I get no mobile data connections (cannot make phone calls, no 3g, no cdma...) And no sound, whether from ringtones or websites (I can connect to the net via wi-fi)...

Before I couldn't get the backup that Jacob posted to work, nor any that I'd gotten from anyone else to work... This time I made my own backup, deleted the files in the folders, and placed the unzipped files from Jacob's recovery into the last folder and they finally showed up... So restoring that now...

And it works!!!!! Gman thank you so much for all the work you've done, let alone doing all this w/o having the VM Phone yourself... You sir, are the man...

Thebritton, You too, are the man for sticking with me on this, and doing alot of the leg work...

Jupiter, thanks for the effort you put into making the kernel, I dunno if I have that in or not, how can I tell?

Ok, now it reads right, SuperSU installed and rooted, now to get BusyBox, Titanium Backup, and I think I'm good to go... What app is his screenshot of with the Blood Brothers ad at the bottom?

I'm not exactly sure. You might ask him what app that is :)
