Just a note of my experience with VM
VM phone was a Samsung Intercept. I had it for less than a year. Towards the end the camera function began to act strangely, with a pink/red film over part of the camera screen.
I was going to sell it as is, but noticed the 1 year warranty statement in terms of service.
They replaced the unit without question, after determining there wasn't some no brainer fix( like a battery removal and restart). I had purchased from Best Buy, but the rep said he didn't care, he would handle it.
I don't know why anyone should buy the iinsurance. Except for loss. You did have to send the old unit back (in their prepaid shipper)
