virgin mobile wildfire questions

hello, I would like to know how the wildfire compares to the Optimus V. How does the gps and data speeds compare. What roms are available?

i have had both phones, the optimus, and wildfire are both great phones, i like the wildfire because of the sense ui, i dont really like the "vanilla" look of 2.2 froyo. the wildfire has a 5 mp cam and flash, the optimus has a 3.2mp cam no flash. there both pretty fast when there clean, the one flaw with the wildfire is the lack of memory, you can get around that by rooting, and maybe installing a custom rom...

gps seems faster on the wildfire, but could be where i am..

I have a wildfire s and it is amazing, a good buddy of mine has the optimus v. the optimus seems to do better with memory but the wildfire seems to be alot faster. i was having a major issue with the lack of memory but after I have rooted it and uninstalled bloatware it seems to be great. i get faster data speeds than my dads motorola triumph.
