Root Virginmobile htc wfs stock overclocked?? Need help

Hi, I've got a new wfs today and want to overclock it to like 807 or so and as of right now it's s-off with full root.. I want to stay with the stock rom so can someone give me a step by step on how to overclock it?? With links to downloads?

Must be for the CDMA wfs virginmobile!!!

You need a custom kernel to overclock. You can use Rom Manager (free in the market) to flash a custom recovery and kernel without flashing a new rom. That way you can stay stock and still get the speed boost you want. Try No-Frills cpu control, it's every bit as good as set-cpu, but it's free.
