Root Virtuous: Cannot Update SD Apps

Well, after having Virtuous installed for a few weeks, I'm pleased overall. However, I've found one issue and I'm wondering if it's an issue with the ROM or a setting I've missed.

When my apps need to update, any app that is installed on the SD card encounters a problem. The phone recognized the need to update, downloads the update, but then fails to install.

I have found that if I then search the failed apps within the Settings and move them back to the Phone, I can update the apps. Then, I can move them back to the SD card.

So, has anyone else encountered the same issue? Any ways to fix it?

On 3.1 and now 3.2, apps moved to SD update just fine. If you think it may be Virtuous, do a backup, then do the RUU to stock, then see if you have the same problem. If you do, it may be an issue with your SD card. If not, report back and we can troubleshoot from there.

RUU to stock? I've been trying to revert to stock to see, but don't know how. I'm also having a problem with flash. When I say a problem, I mean it doesn't work, AT ALL!

Any suggestions? How do I revert to stock?

What if I want to maintain root and simply remove the Virtuous Rom? Not a big deal, but I'd rather not have to deal with rooting again. It be nice to strip the Rom without needing to hook up to my computer.

Here's a question. As I said in one of my previous posts, my flash isn't working. If I go into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications, it lists flash as v.10.1.105.7. However, if I go into Virtuous Buddy and try to toggle Flash, it says:

"ERROR: Could not locate AdobeFlash.apk anywhere.

CAUSE: Application was likely removed by an earlier version of Buddy/EZ-Customizer as opposed to being disabled."

Anybody have any ideas what's going on? If I could get Flash to work, I could deal with my App updating issues. But no Flash is not really acceptable, as I'm unable to watch a LOT of embeded videos I would otherwise be able to.

Nevermind, please ignore the idiot above ^^^^^

I just went into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Adobe Flash and clicked "Uninstall Update". It reported that it was unsuccessful. However, it then appeared that it was now non-existent since all buttons were not selectable. So, I went into the Market and searched for it. It was listed as installed, but when I clicked on it, it was Installable. So... I installed and Viola. It works.

Very weird, but at least that is solved now. I'm much happier now. lol
