Virtuous Inquisition Help!

Hi, sorry if this seems very noob-ish but I'm having some trouble with getting Virtuous inquisition v 4.02 to work. Basically it loads up but gets stuck at the V boot logo.

1) I rooted the phone using the HTCdev unlock method and installed Clockwork mod recovery.
2) I didn't install the firmware
3) I copied the ROM over to the Sd card root and flashed it with CWM

And now it won't work. I've tried to apply the firmware update since then but whenever I put it on the Sd card and try to update it I get a notice saying "No image or wrong image" for several different things.

Thanks for the help in advance. I've been spending hours trying to fix this!

I forgot to say that the phone has been rooted using hasoon2000's all-in-one kit with Clockworkmod 5.8.0.9. and SuperSU 0.93.

OK, I managed to fix it and get the phone working but now the WiFi doesn't work, any ideas?

i would pretty strongly reccomend you make efforts to become s-off,as htcdev rom flashing is more complicated.

this is in the rezound forum,but the info applies to an htcdev unlocked s-on sensation.

your wifi is not working due to a kernel/module mismatch. your best bet would be to fastboot boot your recovery into phone memory and then reflash your rom. alternately,you could relock and run an ruu.

what software was your phone on prior? what is your current hboot version?
