Since getting my new HTC Desire HD smart phone about 3 months ago, I have received several virus type text mesages which has 2 symbols to it (looks like and & sign and a strange G symbol), but has no text. If I open the message my text message program crashes. And have to do a system restore and start the phone again, but this wipes all the phone data and my settings, a real pain!
So when I got the same text a few days later, I realised I can actually delete the email without opening it, which worked a few times, but... the last time I received this virus type text message and tried to delete it (not open it), my message program crashed!
I dont want to keep formatting/restoring my phone every time I get/see this virus type text message, has anyone had or seen this text fault before? And/or does anyone know how to stop it? Any help would be great.
