I wondered (and asked about) this about a month ago. I never get a completely definitive answer saying that we would see no improvements from it, but I think it's assumed it would make no difference for VM customers.

Personally made a difference for me after flashing different radios to get better service
 
i was curious cause i live in a verizon dominant area, very weak sprint signal and i know vision uses verizon towers

Vision, as I understand it, is just relating to an improvement to Sprint's towers. There are Verizon PRLs that Sprint users have used, but it can lead to being kicked off for excessive roaming, and they do no good to us since we can't roam at all.
