Visual voice mail sound quality

Anyone else having issues with the volume and or quality of visual voice mail? I can hardly hear any of my messages when using visual voice mail. However if I call my voice mail, volume and quality are fine. Obviously something is getting lost when your voice mail is getting routed through a data connection.
 
I find the quality pretty good. What do ya want, Morgan Freeman standing beside you whispering it in your ear like sweet nothings?

Well good for you, maybe your phone is working different than mine. Mine I can hardly hear.
 
Make sure you turn on the Speaker. Go to the Settings menu, set Speakerphone on for all visual voicemails.

That's really strange. My test device had no problem at all. The audio was loud and clear when the speakerphone had turned ON.

Do the following experiments please:

(1) Leave a voicemail using the Landline (eg: your home phone)
(2) Leave a voicemail using a mobile phone (with speaker OFF)
(3) Leave a voicemail using a mobile phone (with speaker ON)

I expect (2) will yield the best voice quality during audio playback from the VM. If this is not the case, may be it is time to exchange your device.
