Root visual voicemail error {custome roms only}

ok, he must have removed something that is required for the app to verify your account. I think you may be out of luck. Voicemail works on SuperROM :)

Vvm was nice, but the actual notification is the crucial one. I remember to check it about once a WK and I have over 12 msgs and I'm like WOW! Lol gonna try ur voicemail zip...

Edit: Error V30: voice messages will be delivered when data services become available

what exactly is the voicemail issue and why is that not the name of this thread?

edit: or at least mentioned in the op

I think he's referring to awesome android not getting voicemail notifications...but I'm not exactly sure haven't used it in a while

you may need to open the app first and let it verify your account

No go. Opened app and hit "check for updates" (cuz that should verify too, right?) And got "general failure" had 4 voicemails & no notification... It was worth a try! Thanks tho :beer::D

shouldn't need to update, but i assume just opening it would start the verification process. Sorry. I am out of ideas.

oh...unless there is an update in the /data/app folder. If there is you could try deleting it, reboot to recovery, wipe caches, flash zip, try again

I got a kitchen thingy (dsixda) on my PC I'm trying to learn how to use... Can someone plz point me in the right direction on how to go about it?

Extract the attached file here /Android-Kitchen/tools/edify_defs/

That should get you started ;)

it depends on what i am doing but yes ;)

Did u use it to make SuperRom? I ask because I am using v0.221[?] Instead of 224 (gonna install it tonight) and also didn't know if I needed to "make the kitchen compatible" first to use it properly... Oh! Or is that what u just gave me?! Lol :D
