Another new Android and Hero user (had it since last Friday) and I'm loving it. From perusing these forums, I think I've overcome the major technical issues and everything is running pretty smoothly.
I did have one issue, namely with the vizBattery widget, which seems to be great when it works. I noticed that it would not update its status; if I clicked the battery info button, it would list the correct percentage, but the icon would not be in sync. Sometimes, after a reboot, the icon would even show 0% with a downward arrow, even though it had over 50% power left.
Eventually I moved the widget to an extended home screen (the one to the left of the main) and voila -- it seems to work fine now. Has anyone experienced anything similar or know of any fixes to get it to work on the main screen? Thanks.
