Vlingo - apparently works "via cloud computing"

Vlingo - an excellent text-to-speech and speech-to-text product - does not operate entirely within the phone, I've discovered. Rather, it uses resources at Vlingo. Those users of PagePlus or other web-limited services obviously can't use it.

What is SECOND-best for converting voice to outgoing text messages (ERIS)?
