Help VM Supreme OTA Update w Root

Newbie
I've been getting nagged every few minutes all day to install a 110mb update from Sprint for my Virgin Mobile Supreme which I've rooted. I didn't want to install this until I either unrooted or found I could update safely without issue while rooted. I'm still running the stock ROM, all the stock bloatware is still in place the only changes I made was root and then gave myself the ability to use the device as a hotspot.

I did some searching on what exactly this update is at 110mb I was expecting a new OS but it appears to be nothing more than patches?

If you haven't modified any of the files the phone comes with then you can take the update and then re-root.

That just means you can't delete any programs or change the startup sound (although you can put the old sound back if you just changed the name). I just have mine rooted for tether and it took the update fine.

That's what I was hoping for, thanks. I too rooted so I could share the data once in a while. Everything else on the phone is stock.
