Help Vodafone UK 2.2 update - msg force close??

Just had the 2.2 upgrade via Vodafone & can`t compose a message. Comes up with "The application HTC_IME mod (process jonasl.ime) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
Anyone had the same problem or know a cure??
Uninstall the HTC_IME MOD, worked fine for me after I did that.
