Voice Actions for Android Siri Killer

i just tried it out, it is hilarious fun. if you ask "are you hungry?" it will tell you "no i am not, i have ?% battery left" tells you your current battery percentage. pretty cool

Try changing the language in the settings to English UK.

Has anyone got the paid version? I'm initially very impressed with it, but the speed of responses is a little slow, apparently it's quicker in the paid version..

Got the paid version 5 minutes after trying it out.

It does speed up a little and you get all she can dish out.
 
i just looked at a youtube video of someone demonstrating the siri,
and i let my phone's voice actions 'listen' to all the questions the guy in the video asked siri, and almost every time mine answered quicker, and it always reads the answer, where as in the siri it depends- it doesn't read some of the stuff aloud.
i like this app :)

i know, i tried everything but it wouldnt download to my phone, just said it was incompatible.
i downloaded it to my girlfriends X10 then took the .apk from hers and transfered it to mine so works now, it doesnt understand most of what i ask it but its kinda cool

the problem with Siri Apple took it over and have messed with it and running it from their servers which seem to be overloaded, also said its on a beta Im sorry but how can a beta be classed as a killer app.

Also all the demos I've seen if you notice its all generic questions and not one of the people doing it has a strong or broad accent

I'm getting to like it but so far has text 2 friends messages that make no sense lol it seems to have issues with my Scottish accent but I like it learns what you tell it

I must admit though, it does seem pretty life-like. That's the same reaction that Richie101 gets from real girls! :D

Have exactly the same problem as KTP but even after putting the .apk on my SD card, it would not install.

For the time being, I've got "SpeakToIt Assistant" installed with "Svox Classic" and Victoria voice.

It certainly has as good a "hit rate" as the Siri app I tried on the iPhone 4S in the Apple store at the weekend, plus a nice avatar (see screenshot).

I've used Google Voice Search for a year or so and get on very well with it and have a very good "hit rate" with my voice and accent, circa 80-90%.

Some friends who have tried it, with regional accents, have faired less well I fear.

Perhaps we will now see a return to, "Received Pronounciation", thanks to these sort of app's. :)

My translate is not working on voice actions. I tried "Translate I love you in spanish" and it would translate it into german. Is there a setting I need to change?
